Dr. Marshal Carter, PharmD, M.S., EMT-I, BCGP

Dr. Marshal Carter is the Chief Executive Officer for RxRescue, Inc. His educational background includes: Doctor of Pharmacy from Campbell University ('13), Masters of Science in Clinical Research from Campbell University ('13), B.A. in Music from Mount Olive College ('06), Emergency Medical Technician - Intermediate from Lenoir Community College, and Notary Public from Central Carolina Community College. Dr. Carter has been working in community pharmacy since 2001 at various chain and independent drug stores in North Carolina as well as volunteering in local free clinics whenever possible. Marshal served Beulaville Volunteer Fire and EMS as an EMT as well as Buies Creek Volunteer Fire and Rescue as an EMT and the Infectious Control Officer. Dr. Carter authored and implemented an a complete set of departmental policies and procedures manual for infectious control in compliance with local and federal governing bodies while serving at Buies Creek Fire Department. He currently teaches BLS CPR-AED and First Aid courses for the National Safety Council and is a licensed EMT-Intermediate. In 2019, he became a board certified pharmacist in geriatrics. His goal is to become a clinical pharmacist practitioner and work with under-served patients. While at Campbell University, Dr. Carter received the United States Public Health Service Award as issued by the United States Government. Dr. Carter has published material in the Student Pharmacist magazine, co-authored CE for NC Chiropractors, and served as a co-researcher on projects that have been accepted as abstracts for review at national pharmacy conventions. Marshal also serves as the Director of Clinical Services for RxRescue, Inc. and supervises teams of highly trained volunteers who run free community health fairs with CLIA waived tests such as finger-stick blood glucose measurements. Dr. Carter currently serves as pharmacy manager in Charlotte, NC.

Dr. Jennifer Clark, PharmD, B.S. Vice President - Jennifer@rxrescue.comDr. Jennifer Clark is the Executive Vice President and Interim Treasurer for RxRescue, Inc. She has earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from Campbell University ('13) and a B.S. in Biology from the Pennsylvania State University. Jennifer worked in biomedical research at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Temple University, University of North Carolina, and Vesta Therapeutics prior to beginning her career in pharmacy. Dr. Clark is currently a VA Hospital Pharmacist, proudly serving those who have served our country.

Dr. Courtney Schammel, B.S., PharmD Secretary - Courtney@rxrescue.comDr. Courtney Schammel currently serves as the Executive Secretary for RxRescue, Inc. She has earned a B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Campbell University and more recently completed the Doctor of Pharmacy program at Campbell University in North Carolina. Dr. Schammel has served numerous collegiate organizations as an executive board, and we are very glad she serves RxRescue, Inc. Dr. Schammel is currently a pharmacy manager in the Raleigh, NC area where she provides top-notch patient care to all those in need.

Dr. Ariel Benton, Pharm.D., M.S. Board Member - Ariel@rxrescue.comDr. Ariel Benton serves RxRescue, Inc. as a Board Member. She has an extensive background in managing pharmacy services as well as compounding medications. Ariel has completed a B.S. in Clinical Research and a Masters in Business Administration from Campbell University. She is a Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences graduate and currently serves as a pharmacy manager near Raleigh, NC. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Dr. Bronson Lowery, M.S., PharmD

Director of Planned Giving

Dr. Bronson Lowery is a Lumbee Indian from Pembroke, North Carolina. Dr. Lowery earned both a Doctorate of Pharmacy and a Master of Science in Clinical Research from Campbell University in 2013. In 2006, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in Chemistry with a Biomedical Emphasis. While attending Campbell University, Dr. Lowery was appointed Diversity Coordinator for Campbell University’s School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. During his time at Campbell he was also responsible for coordinating the Pharmacy Readiness and Enrichment Program (PREP) which prepared pre-pharmacy students to take pharmacy entrance exams and interview skills. Dr. Lowery's contributions to his school and community did not end here; he also participated in various disaster preparedness drills throughout the state of North Carolina. Dr. Lowery is the proud owner of an independent pharmacy in Red Springs, NC. Outside of Pharmacy, Bronson enjoys traveling across the country in addition to spending quality time with his friends and family.
